*Parshah Emor (From the Heart):* This week’s Parshah states, “And you will keep my Mitzvot, and you will fulfill them, I am Hashem. Do not desecrate my Holy Name, and I will be sanctified among the children of Israel. I am Hashem Who sanctifies you, who took you out of the land of Egypt to be your Gd. I am Hashem.” This powerful message reminds us that we are *a special people, set apart from the rest of the world.* With all its benefits, such as direct access to the Boss (Capital B) for assistance in managing this world and a wonderful eternity that awaits. With all its commandments which serve to sanctify us. And provide a person merit. With all its lessons that come to one with a Torah Lens. Even in challenges, when the reward for right behavior brings more challenges, those too are part of the path upward BH! We are a nation with a spirit! Nothing can tamper with what it means to be a Yid! Call it Jew Privilege! It is a silver spoon that cannot cripple, only strengthen and empower us if we allow it to. *Perspective is the key!* I have to’s ——> I get to’s. This is happening to me ——> This is happening for me. What’s the message/lesson here? What’s the godly response in this situation? *We are of great importance* here to repair and refine the world. Each person according to their level, with level being irrelevant. All that matters is the work itself and the relationship with Hashem. *A reason to rejoice!* Again, not because I have no problems, but because I can see the good in every problem! When we realize this truth. We can start to truly live. On Joy: Rabbi Nachman teaches that being happy is a very great mitzvah. And we must seize every opportunity to be happy. *Joy is the vitality of life* which means *sadness is the absence of life.* A person cannot feel two things simultaneously. When Joy is present sadness is forced to stand aside. But on a Higher level is when one is courageous to invite sadness to the Joy. (As in the examples above) All this with the firm unshakeable conviction that I’m a Jew standing at the forefront, and nothing can take that away from me! And maybe that’s why “I am Hashem” appears 3 times in the opening verses. To remind us *WHO we are doing it for!* Because even though at times we may forget our essence. Hashem never forgets! *It’s Not Permanent:* I have been mediating on a certain Chiddush that I heard over the Omer while listening to Gedale Fenster class that is so profound and beautiful that I asked chat GPT to transform it into a great Divrei Torah! There is a quiet paradox woven into the fabric of life: When a person’s world feels perfectly in order — finances stable, health steady, relationships smooth — something subtle can begin to unravel within. The heart relaxes too much. The urgency of tefilah softens. The sharpness of emunah dulls. A person begins to rely on the visible structure of his life rather than the invisible Hand that sustains it. In those moments, it is as if — כביכול — there is a certain “chaos” Above. Not chaos of lack, but chaos of distance. The connection weakens. The flow is obstructed. Hashem, so to speak, performs a pulse check: Where is My child’s heart? But when life shifts — when things feel uncertain, when plans unravel, when אדם encounters chaos — something extraordinary happens. The inner world begins to align. A person looks upward. He prays with heart. He thinks of teshuvah. He lets insults pass, because suddenly ego feels small compared to truth. What looked like chaos below becomes order Above. The נשמה (soul) awakens. The קשר (connection) strengthens. The אדם (man) becomes real again. This is the hidden kindness: The “chaos” is not destruction — it is calibration. And this is where the light of Rashbi shines so powerfully. Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai revealed that even concealment is a form of revelation. Even darkness carries בתוך (within) itself a higher אור (light) When a person responds to difficulty with elevated emunah, with restraint, with deeper tefilah — he transforms דין (judgement) into רחמים (mercy). Now the pain is no longer just pain. It becomes a bridge. *And when that happens, the tzaar (affliction) has no reason to remain.* כי ברגע שהאדם מתעלה — הצער מתבטל. Because the entire purpose of the לחץ, the confusion, the “chaos,” was to bring out that very response. So in truth: When man insists on perfect order, he risks inner chaos. But when he accepts the chaos and responds with faith — he creates perfect order Above. And in the zechut of Rashbi — whose light penetrates even the darkest caves, whose Torah uplifts the broken and heals the lacking — may every form of chaos in our lives be transformed into clarity! 🙏🏼 And for all of us — may every challenge awaken in us deeper emunah, stronger tefilah, and a חיים of true alignment with Hashem. ואז — לא רק שהצער נעלם, אלא שהוא מתגלה למפרע כשלב בדרך לאור גדול. *Parshah Portion Naso:* The Parshah States: PK 5:10: וְאִ֥ישׁ אֶת־קֳדָשָׁ֖יו ל֣וֹ יִֽהְי֑וּ אִ֛ישׁ אֲשֶׁר־יִתֵּ֥ן לַכֹּהֵ֖ן ל֥וֹ יִֽהְיֶֽה “A person’s holy things will belong to him, whatever a man gives to the Kohen will be His. The Mitzvah of giving 10% Maaser is found in this week’s Parshah. “A persons holy things”, is the 10% set aside for Holy purposes such as Sedaka! “Will be his”, can be explained multiple ways, A) will allow the main source of Parnassa to continue yielding the results 100% contingent on his diligent giving of 10% for charity. *Judged During Last Moments:* *One of the most amazing Torah Principles:* I searched to see if I ever mentioned it. And I did so on one occasion in passing. So let’s expound on it this time around. *Hashem judges a person by who he is in his last moment in this World.* Amazing that a life of misdeeds and iniquity can be washed away by sincere thoughts of Teshuvah and a sincere desire to turn away from sin. The Creator of the universe is not lacking information. He remembers every word ever spoken, every deed ever performed, every thought ever entertained. If He wished, He could bring before a person every forgotten failure and demand an accounting for each one. Instead Hashem looks for reasons to forgive. He searches for the point of return. He does not insist on reliving every offense. He welcomes him back. Now compare this to the nature of man. Human beings possess only fragments of the story. We do not know another person's struggles, upbringing, temptations, pains, or private battles. We see a single chapter and imagine we understand the entire book. Yet despite our limited vision, a person can hold a grudge for decades, and define another human being forever by a single mistake. The Gemara (Yoma 87a) states, when someone sincerely seeks forgiveness and we refuse to grant it, we place ourselves in judgment over another person. We act as though our understanding is complete, as though our verdict is more enduring than Hashem's mercy. This is coined Wickedness in the strongest sense of the word. What is arrogance if not assuming a position that belongs to Hashem alone? Hashem, who knows everything, forgives. Man, who knows almost nothing, refuses. If the Master of the World can allow a person to begin again, then surely we can as well. A person's past is not his identity. His failures are not his essence. His lowest moments are not his definition. Who he chooses to become today—that is the person Hashem sees. If Hashem is willing to look at a Jew through the lens of what he can become, then we should strive to look at one another through that same lens.

*Parshah Portion Behaalotcha:* Passuk States: ועתה נפשנו יבשה אין כל בלתי אל המן עינינו But now, Our life is parched, there is nothing to anticipate except the Manna” Let us clarify that the Manna was spiritual delight greater than any taste for the physical senses. There complaint was ENTIRELY baseless. This is why Moshe responded with such despair “I cannot carry this nation, it’s too heavy for me… Kill me now. And Rashi comments that Hashem remarked, *“Just look at what my children complain about, the wonderful Manna!”* R’ Abraham Pam says that -*this divine comment continues to ring in Hashem’s ears as to this very day!* A husband returns home from work to find toys strewn all over the floor. Many young couples have gone through much agony and thousands of dollars in the hope of having a child. What would they NOT give to have toys strewn over the floor? Many of the things we call burdens today are actually prayers we begged Hashem to answer yesterday. Moshe’s sharpest reprimand of the Israelis war was that they were ingrates (Avodah Zarah 5a). *Parshah Portion Korach:* (& Insights into Month of Tammuz) Chazal state that Korach was a very great person. But his greatness, nor his Torah could save him from the terrible trait of Jealousy. The drive for correction in this area must come from within. This parallels perfectly with the work of the month of Tammuz. The Parashiyot that surface in the month of Tammuz are. Shelach, Korach, Chukat, Balak…. All instances where the perceptive vision of the nation led them astray with devastating consequences. Shelach- Negative Report of the Land (Exiled in Wilderness 40 years) Korach- Jealousy > Rebel against Moshe (Earth swallowed him alive) Chukat - The Snake on the Pole (Remedy for wrong use of the eyes) Balak- Bilam sought to Curse Bnei Yisrael (He ended up blessing them) Tammuz is the unfortunate month where both Batei Mikdash were breached. (9,17) Chazal teach that it wasn’t due to the might of the defeating Armies. It was due to fall of Klal Yisrael’s spiritual standing. With summer now among us, and many tests and opportunities to do good. The time to double down is now! *Our service during these summer months is doubled!* Chazal advise to take good care to recite the Minha prayer during these months. The Minha Zman is the time of day where Hashem is “least merciful” so to speak. Ironically, The Minha prayer was instituted by Yitzhak Avinu (who was the embodiment of Gevurah in this world) and it serves as the prayer that mitigates judgments.
