Welcome to Small Talk by Seforim Chatter. I'm Nachi Weinstein. On this episode of Small Talk, I'm going to be joined by Rabbi Yirmiyahu Cohen, who is a Mashgiach in Yeshivas Mikdash Melech and a teacher in a few seminaries, and is the author of the book From the Dorm to the Chuppah, a humorous user-friendly guide published by Mosaica Press. It's a pleasure. >> What can you tell the listeners about >> What can you tell the listeners about this book, From the Dorm to the Chuppah? >> I'll tell you. Being a Mashgiach in a American Yeshiva for teenage boys uh and teaching in four seminaries of teenage girls, I was involved in shidduchim and I was involved in different types of relationships, and I realized that there are very many things which boys and girls boys and girls don't know about. Very many things which are obvious when you think about them from the when you think about them from the outside, but when it comes to tachlis, to the real world, boys and girls are oblivious of this, and this is a problem that goes through the dating, through the shidduchim, through the marriage, and I decided to write a book which will tackle the problem from the shoresh, from the roots, to be able to get the boy and the girl that time they get married to be much more the product they want to be, so that they have they enjoy a much better marriage, and at the same time they get along with other people, too.
