The common foundation
Both FilteredTube memberships are designed for the same focused catalog experience: approved Torah content and modest Jewish music, including clear men’s and women’s music categories. Both is a standalone FilteredTube membership in addition to the Video membership. The prescription is part of the safety relationship; the Video plan determines the media actions available to the eligible account.
Search results are still governed by policy. Paying for either plan does not open the general web or override a content decision. Clearly approved material may appear, gray-area material stays hidden with a review option, and hard-no content such as adult material, violence, or drugs is denied without a customer appeal path.
$8.99 per month: approved streaming
The Streaming plan is $8.99 per month. It is intended for unlimited streaming of titles that are available, approved, and eligible for the customer’s profile. “Unlimited” describes the plan’s monthly streaming allowance; it does not promise that every title will always be available or that every search will return a result.
Approved YouTube content uses official privacy-enhanced embedded playback. Separately licensed media may use the FilteredTube delivery path when streaming rights are present. The service does not scrape or download YouTube in order to fulfill the streaming plan, and it does not expose unreviewed results when a required production check is unavailable.
$8.99 per month: streaming plus eligible downloads
The Streaming + Downloads plan is $8.99 per month. It includes the approved streaming access described above and adds offline downloads for media with current, verified download permission. That may include FilteredTube-owned, artist-approved, rabbi-approved, customer-owned, partner-provided, or otherwise properly licensed content.
The download plan does not turn YouTube videos into files. It also does not override an artist’s conditions or create permission where no licensing evidence exists. Each eligible action depends on the title, the rights record, the account, and the current membership state.
What is not included
Separate cloud-storage billing is intentionally deferred and is not bundled into the $8.99 or $8.99 launch price. Customers should not interpret “downloads” as a promise of unlimited hosted storage. Any future storage option would need its own clear terms, price, capacity, and privacy explanation.
Membership activation also depends on production account, payment, policy, and entitlement services being correctly configured. A polished interface can explain the plans before those integrations are enabled, but it should not simulate a successful purchase or claim active access without verified service state. The safe launch standard is accurate pricing, accurate boundaries, and a fail-closed customer path.

Key takeaways
- $8.99 covers approved streaming; $8.99 adds eligible licensed downloads.
- Cloud storage is separate and not part of the launch pricing.
