Search That Only Knows Approved Answers

Instant, typo-forgiving, Hebrew-friendly search — over a catalog where every result already passed review.

Instant and forgiving

Results appear as you type. Spellings are forgiven — Shwekey or Schwekey, Brachos or Berachot. Filters narrow by length and speaker. And every single result was approved before you ever searched for it.

A miss is a doorway

When search comes up thin, that query is noted for review, and the Request feature lets you send a specific video straight to the judge. The catalog grows in the direction its members actually search.

Under the hood, the search index simply cannot answer with anything unapproved — the unapproved is not in it. That inversion is the whole trick: instead of filtering answers on the way out, the library itself was built filtered, ruling by ruling, and search just reads the library. It is why results are instant (nothing to check at query time), why they are safe on every account (the lens is applied server-side), and why a thin result is a signal we act on rather than pad. Search honestly is the front door of the product — and it opens only into approved rooms.

At a glance

Key takeaways

  • As-you-type results over an approved-only index.
  • Typos and transliterations both land.
  • Thin results feed review — search literally grows the catalog.
