Official Embeds: Why Playback Stays on the Source

FilteredTube plays approved outside content through the provider's official privacy-enhanced embed - never by copying it. Here is why that matters.

The rail we chose

When an approved result originates on the outside video platform, FilteredTube plays it through that provider's official privacy-enhanced embedded player. The content stays on its original rail; what FilteredTube provides is everything around it - the reviewed search, the clean categories, the focused player shell, the boundary.

We do not scrape, cache, re-host, or convert outside video into files. That line is legal, ethical, and practical at once: creators' relationships with their platform stay intact, and our promises stay ones we can keep forever.

Privacy-enhanced by default

The embed FilteredTube uses is the provider's privacy-enhanced mode, which limits the tracking that ordinary embedded playback performs. Combined with the product's own restraint - no advertising identifiers, analytics limited to product improvement - the result is playback with a dramatically smaller data footprint than watching in the open.

The honest limits: an embed is still the provider's player, and the provider's own terms govern inside that frame. What FilteredTube controls is which items ever reach the frame - which, for a filtered product, is the control that matters.
